My husband is a web designer for a major company. He loves surfing in the information highway all day, finding exactly what he needs to make his projects the best in the company. That is why he is paid the big bucks, because he is good at what he does, and it shows. He is on the net all day, so he knows what is popular and what is not.

Before he got this job about five years ago, we didn't have broadband at home for our computers. We had dial up, which was really embarrassing when people came to visit, and asked to use our computer. After they found out that all we had was dial up, they would laugh and tell us to get with the times.

Now that my husband has this job as a web designer, we wouldn't dream of getting caught with dial up at our home. Actually, we get high speed Internet for free from his company. Sometimes he has to work from home, so his company pays for everything in our home. They pay for our cell phones, our Internet, and even our cable TV. How cool is that? You can't beat that. I know with some jobs, they provide the cars as well. Even though my husband doesn't have that luxury, it really isn't necessary. We only live 5 miles away from his work. So as a rule, my husband rides his motorcycle to work to save on gas.

Being a web designer for a major company does has it perks, he still wants to get a better position within the company. He wants the master web designer job that is opening soon. His boss as recommended him to the big bosses in the company. That is really impressive. In order to be recommended for a higher position in this particular company, is a major accomplishment. Not everyone has that opportunity. So my husband feels very fortunate that his boss is that confident in him.

I know that he will do a great job if he is picked for the position. He really knows what he is doing, and everytime he has a deadline for a project. He makes it on time, and does a great job. He doesn't just get the job done. He does it with excellent quality. When the big bosses sees what a great employee he is, he will have no problem getting the position.
