I decided to try out some dating on-line sites as my love life was not very exciting and I had had enough of the men in my area. I wanted to meet someone different, with different interests and a different take on life.

One of the dating on-line sites I was on paired me up with a guy who was a web designer. He was lovely and we really hit it off, but we weren't attracted to each other so have remained friends to this day. I did some webdesign at college and he offered me a job with his company, which I took.

I met my current partner on a dating on-line website too. We are very happy and living together and currently engaged. If it weren't for the world wide web I'd have never met the man of my dreams, or such a good friend and a good job.

When I was at school I remember people talking about the world wide web and how good it was. We could not afford a computer so Ionly ever went onto the world wide web at school in the library. I remember this one program we had on the computer at school. I cant remember much about it now, or what it was called but it had a young boy on there of about 12 years of age. He was dressed in Victorian clothes and I think was a prince. We were able to ask him questions and he would reply to us. I'm not sure what the whole purpose of the program was for, or why we had to go on it every computer lesson, but it was a bit of fun. We would swear at it, as you do when you are a kid, and he would reply with I don't understand that.

We recently downloaded the new windows program that is coming out soon and have been trying it out. It's much better that vista, I hated that! I only put it on my laptop, thankfully, as my server has all my main documents on etc. The Internet connection was really slow, it would constantly freeze and would get right on my nerves!
