Here it was 4:00 in the morning, and I was so excited to go to work on my first day. I just got hired about a week ago and today is going to be my day of work at this web software development company. I have wanted this job for 6 months, but there never was an opening. One of my friends got transferred to another part of the state so I got to fill her position.

At my job, they taught me how to be programmer. Now a programmer is a person that will design, write, modify, and they will test computer programs. I already knew a few things about being a programmer, but I am mainly interested in how to write programs.

I was reading in a book through my weeks of waiting, and was surprised to hear that most companies used a phone modem. They went on to say that it was cheaper for the company, but also described they were talking about dsl. That was good to hear, because if they used dial up, there phone lines would be busy all the time.

Well, it got to be closer to 7:30 in the morning, and decided to start going to work. It was a good thing I took a notebook and pen to work, because by 9:00 in the morning I already had 3 pages full of notes. We as programmers will get spam when on the computer. This spam could be like buying life insurance to car insurance, to making money on line. There was no way you were going to avoid any spam, no matter what you did.

Well I did find out that a broadband was a type of transmission media that sends out different signals all at once. They are dsl and cable users that connect to the internet. I will have to admit I learned something new. I had always thought that a broadband was an internet provider, so you could have your choice of phone, cable dsl, or even satellite. At least I found out that I have broadband at home.

I decided to pay attention better so I can learn these big words, so when they asked what is web software development I will have the correct answer.
