A programmer is a person who writes codes for all types of software's. As you all know, computers understand only the language of 1s and 0s. A software is a piece of program written bya programmer to make things user friendly for the users and at the same time convert them into these 1s and 0s so that the computer understands them too. These are done with the help of programming languages. Some are high level languages involving English words while some are low level languages (assembly level languages) which are not that simple. Many software languages have an inbuilt compiler which converts the program language into machine language so that the computer may comprehend whatever is written.

Once a programmer has written the codes, it is all collected together to make a complete package which is them made available for people to use it. These packages may include a software which is marketed through Cd's or it may even be available for download online. The website developer has to ensure that the web designs are good enough to draw more number of people in trying out the software or even buying them online.

Usually a software company has a host of employees working simultaneously. These may include programmers, site developers, research and development team, debugging team, testing team, etc. In order that all their activities are co-ordinated their individual computers are connected through a LAN cable. The setup so formed is called networking. Networking helps the teamsto reach out to each other and evenexchange important file. Networking even allows a user to directly edit files onanother machine. Even hardware devices like printers, scanners, etc canbe shared through the network.

Now you may ask that who control all these computers and who determines what rights to give to a particular employee. The answer is the moderator or the administrator. The moderator has a special password with him and only he can add or modify rights to a particular employee. It can be said that the moderator is the king of the entire network. It is his responsibility to manage all the connections and even assign new IPs for new users. He also has to ensure that there is no signal conflicts in the network and that the network hardware is working fine.

We can thus say that the moderator is the controller of the entire network, with the programmers and other various departments co-ordinating amongst themselves to get their projects completed.
